Michael Floorwax

Michael Floorwax (born November 3, 1959 as Michael Steinke) is an American radio personality and singer. He is a former rising comedian and was the morning disc jockey on Denver, Colorado FM rock station 103.5 KRFX (a.k.a. The Fox) until October 1, 2014. In addition to that he is also the lead singer for a Denver area rock band named The Groove Hawgs.
==''Cheap Seats''==
While a very popular morning host in the Denver area, on a national stage Floorwax may be most recognized and remembered for his appearance in the 1990 ''Steve Garvey Celebrity Billfishing Tournament'', which is aired periodically on ESPN Classic's ''Cheap Seats''. At that time Floorwax was described as a "rising" comedian. He is the butt of many jokes on that and other episodes of the series by the hosts, brothers Jason and Randy Sklar. However, Jason points out that even as a DJ for a morning radio show, he still makes more money than the pair of them combined, causing Randy to request that they get back to the tournament before he starts crying.
Subsequently, he made an appearance on another ''Cheap Seats'' episode in July 2006, which made fun of the ''Steve Garvey Celebrity Skiing Classic'' that took place at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah in 1989.
In that episode, Floorwax is shown at the tournament banquet doing his standup act, which consisted of fish voices, doughnut eating, and a Vicki Carr reference. At the end of the show, the Sklars are shown having financial difficulty and are losing everything that they possess in their studio, which was done to mock Garvey's financial problems. The present day Floorwax, from his radio studio under the pseudonym "Waxy Lou", comes to their aid by using his cash and gas card to buy back all the repossessed studio items and bring the brothers back on their feet. He is known by another alias on the show as the Bald Headed Albino Bulldog.
